ANNUAL HORSINGTON PARISH MEETING

Wednesday 13th March 2024 @ 7.00pm

Charles Hill Community Hall will be open from 6.30pm for refreshments.

Proposed Agenda

Note: All local Parishes are legally obliged to hold an 'Annual Parish Community - Village Meeting', between 1st March and 1st June, each year. This is an opportunity for residents to attend and share your views and concerns you may have about current local issues. Although this meeting is arranged by local Parish Councils it is a residents meeting, NOT a Parish Council Meeting. However this meeting can be an opportunity for Parish Councils to give a brief out-line of their duties and responsibilities, acting on behalf of the local community & to gain feedback from local residents.

1.   Welcome by the Chair of Horsington Parish Council

2.   Chair's Report meeting of 15 March to be approved and signed as true record.

3.   Parish Council report & proposed commemoration of 80th Anniversary of the D Day Landings.

4.   Village Hall Committee report.

5.   Report Snooker Club.

6.   Report from Emergency Committee

7.   Break - refreshments

8.   Presentation: "The Horsington Rebel".

9.   Report from History Group.

10.    Report on the Elder Tree Public House.

11.    Community Forum:

An opportunity for members of the community to raise items of interest that will benefit the community and any issues which are a cause of ongoing concerns which are considered to require attention and actions.
