(Notes) - Minutes of Ordinary Meeting of Horsington Parish Council on Wednesday 11 May 2022 commencing 7.34 pm at Horsington Village Hall.

Those present: Mr C Bates (Chairman) Vice Chairman Mr A Reavill, Cllr R Hill, Cllr R Howard, Cllr Patricia Reeve, Cllr P Bradwell & Cllr W Gray.

0522/14 Public Participation.

Reference Agenda item 0522/26. Resident present raised interest and support in providing a memorial in recognition of Charles Hill (former Chairman of HPC) for his outstanding contribution and service to the local community. Noted.

Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 20 April 2022 approved and signed as a true record.

Ref: 0244/104. Highway/Footpath Repairs Pot holes & maintenance - Updates & Actions:

1. Flooding/Blocked drain/s - Bus stop Lay-by Main Street - flooding ongoing. Clerk emailed Highways to urgently expedite works -  17/03/22 & copied to Cllr PB & included flooding near Moor Lane. Update Response 19-04-22, highways are planning some drainage works as pipes damaged under the road, but no scheduled date available. The teams are overwhelmed with a backlog of works. Will chase for further update.

2. Bucknell to Horsington Rd, footpath overgrown and grass/weeds penetrating through breaking up tarmac surface - Clerk continues to chase.

3. Potholes  nr Elder Tree Public House. FixMyStreet update - works scheduled. 

4. Footpath Moor Lane - Installation of footpath to assist disabled resident. Moor Lane - Horsington Rd junction. Clerk continues to liaise with Cllr PB & Highways. 

0522/20 Update 0422/105. Traffic Calming measures & signage.

a) " Village entry gates" Update: Require specifications of gateways and site locations. Resident survey questionnaire analysis completed.

b) Traffic Survey (levels & speeds). Awaiting further information from LRSP & Highways review of the 60 mph limit on all the approaches to Horsington & a Enforcement & outcome of request to Lincs Neighbourhood Police - re noisy speeding motorcyclists'.
